Arrival & Departure

In September, we introduced and refined a safe arrival and departure system for pupils and parents/carers. We will continue with our established system when pupils return.

The following times show when each year group is expected to arrive and depart. It is essential that pupils adhere to these times to avoid congestion.

Year Group Arrival Time Departure Time Comments

- Pupils will arrive at the pedestrian gate on the playground
- Pupils will be met by staff at their classroom door
- Parents are asked to leave the playground using the one-way system as soon as pupils have been dropped (this will ease congestion and improve safety for all)
- Pupils will be collected from their classrooms at the end of the school day

- Pupils will arrive at the pedestrian gate on the playground
- Pupils will be met by staff on the KS1 playground
- Parents are asked to leave the playground using the one-way system as soon as pupils have been dropped (this will ease congestion and improve safety for all)
- Pupils will be collected from the KS1 playground and will depart using the pedestrian gate by the Hepworth building

- Pupils will be met by staff on the KS2 playground

- Parents are asked to leave the playground using the one-way system as soon as pupils have been dropped (this will ease congestion and improve safety for all)
- Pupils will be collected from the KS2 playground and will depart using the pedestrian gate by the Hepworth building or the main playground gate

- Pupils will arrive at the pedestrian gate on the playground
- Parents are asked not to accompany pupils onto the school site
- Pupils will be met on the KS1 playground by Year 5 staff
- Pupils will depart using the pedestrian gate by the Hepworth building and are asked to meet parents outside the school gates wherever this is possible

- Pupils will arrive at the pedestrian gate on the playground
- Parents are asked not to accompany pupils onto the school site
- Pupils will walk directly to their classrooms and will be met by Year 6 staff
- Pupils will depart using the pedestrian gate by the Hepworth building and are asked to meet parents outside the school gates
