To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 4th March, children in Year 5 and 6 enjoyed a live conference with author and poet Kwame Alexander.  To share what the experience was like, Madison has written this:

"Listening to Kwame was very inspirational.  It has encouraged me to read more books and try new authors as, before today, I had not heard of Kwame Alexander.  After listening to short extracts of his books and poems, they sound very intriguing and enjoyable."
